Can you tell us something about your work experience in Prysmian Group and outline your current responsibilities?

My cable experience started in 1997 as a production planner at the Draka Kabely Velké Meziříčí plant in the Czech Republic. During my time with the company, I have worked in several different functions including sales and marketing. Since 2012, I have been Plant Director/General Manager of this plant.

What are the main challenges you have to face in your current job?

The main challenge for me is to maintain and improve the company’s continuous improvement culture in the Automotive and Elevator business sphere.

Yes, for sure! I would recommend Prysmian to a young professional as a place to work especially because of the great opportunities for working in an international environment, for interfacing with colleagues from different cultures and backgrounds and for understanding the company’s specific industry sector.

I think that Prysmian Group chose me because of my long experience in a plant environment and my flexibility and capability to change and adapt quickly and effectively to new situations..

What part of your job do you enjoy most and why?

I like my job mainly because of the wide variety of challenges and projects I deal with every day and because of having the opportunity to work with an interesting, mixed group of people.

Does your job bring challenges in your personal life too?

I guess this is everyone’s daily challenge - to achieve the right balance between personal and company life.
