What do you do at Prysmian?

I am currently doing my first job rotation in the R&D Department in Melaka, Malaysia. Besides learning the ropes from the experienced engineers here, I also help with the design and costing of cables along with my designated project. I will be continuing my second job rotation in Cikampek, Indonesia where I will be working in Operations.

• Challenging. There is always something new to learn and do in Prysmian. This forces me to continuously be on my feet and ready to solve anything that comes my way
• Inspirational. Knowing that I am a part of a bigger family that plays an integral role in helping society to continuously function and improve drives me to push myself further so that I too can contribute in my own way
• Insightful. Meeting so many people from different walks of life has opened my eyes to see how big the world really is and how we are all unique in our own ways but yet still incredibly similar.

What do you like most about Prysmian?

The thing I like most about Prysmian is the international environment that allows for a wide range of opportunities to develop myself both professionally and personally.

Professionally speaking, there are always new things to learn from the different countries that are constantly sharing knowledge with one another.

As for personally, it is always wonderful to meet people from all around the world and learning about their different culture has been an exceptional way to broaden my horizon.

What is the best thing about your job?

The best thing about my job is the fact that I am always exposed to many different challenges. Only with challenges can a person truly learn and grow to achieve endless possibilities. Prysmian does this and encourages me to push myself beyond my limit while at the same time providing me with support throughout.
